Warren Woods-Tower Football Set to Face Hazel Park in September 2026 Matchup

On Friday, Sept. 11, Warren Woods-Tower will get an early chance to show that its 2026 season can be different when the Titans face Hazel Park at Warren Woods-Tower High School, 27900 Bunert Road, in Warren. The varsity matchup comes two weeks after Michigan's Week 1 openers on Aug. 27, giving the Titans an important early test in front of the Warren families who follow them.

Warren Woods-Tower competes in the Macomb Area Conference Gold division, where early results can quickly shape a team's confidence — and the road ahead. The Titans finished 1-8 in 2024, and the program has not published a verified record for the 2025 season. That gives this fall's team an opportunity to make a different opening impression: one of a group ready to compete, build momentum and change the program's direction.

Hazel Park, meanwhile, will bring recent success into Warren. The Vikings play in the MAC Bronze division and finished the 2025 regular season at 6-4 after opening with a 28-22 Week 1 win over Loyola. That winning experience makes Hazel Park a formidable early test for Woods-Tower.

For parents, alumni, neighbors and regulars who make Friday nights part of their fall routine, the Sept. 11 game is worth circling. When the lights come on and the bleachers fill, the Titans will have a chance to show progress against a team coming off a winning season — and to give their community reason to believe the program's direction is changing.
